About 20 min after Lilloett we came upon a pack of about 15 riders..
they were running at a slower pace having a nice ride, but it was way to big of a pack to pass all at once.
We came up behind a guy on a 85 GSXR 1100 and rode behind for a few miles..as we all came into a turn he got nervous and hit the brakes standning the bike upright and forcing him into my lane. My buddy who was a head of me had a better line and dove to the inside to miss him, I was not as lucky. My only choice as I was higher up in the lane was to go to the outside.
Just missing him by inches my next challenge was to avoid the on coming barrier with a drop off the outside that would have killed me forsure..I had to lift my leg to miss the barrier and managed to lean her away only to be forced onto the very soft bumpy sand shoulder....the back end slid back and forth and I just managed to get it straight and get back on the pavement.
We pulled over to make sure eveyone was ok and taked to the guy who went wide to make sure he was all good. Pulled over a bit up the road to tell the leader of his group everyone was ok.
Glad no one was hurt. And remember ..If someone is behind you dont ride above your head, just wave em by..thanks.
P>S I hope Bog was not part of this group..
