Apparently MPI's spokesperson is unaware of the Gyroscopic effect that increases stability.
Then of course there is this little gem of statistics and damn statistics
"Wakefield said the average cost for a motorcycle claim is $14,000, with 83% going to cover injury-related expenses such as rehabilitation, replacement income, equipment and personal care.
An average claim for passenger vehicles only runs about $2,500, with just 35% designated for injury costs. "
Of course the writer does not list the number of accidents in Manitoba by car and motorcycle each year leaving the uneducated reader ( most) to determine that motorcyclists cost Manitoba Public Insurance four times the amount that car accidents do
This kind of mis information does not help our Motrcyclists. Join BCCOMM and support the education of car drivers and elected officials
Good eye - typical of the propaganda 'spin' put on the news...
Tune-up Tip: If you can't fix it with a hammer, then you must have an electrical problem.
Whatever. I don't know what's worse: the misinformation, or the way motorcyclists get their panties in a twist about it every time.
Thats a shitty deal. R.I.P. Riders
