    FS: 1998 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT 5-spd

    Hey all-

Decided this is more car than we really need for the (very little) driving we're doing since we moved to the city, so on the block she goes.

1998 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT, 5-speed transmission, red in colour, charcoal cloth interior, power windows, doors, mirrors, moonroof, air conditioning, CD stereo, folding rear seats, etc etc.

New headgaskets, clutch, + major service (incl. water pump and cam belt) about 6,000km ago (this is epidemic with the 2.5L twin-cam engine in this car, but only needs to be done once, as the gaskets were redesigned).

Brakes were done about 20,000km ago, lots of meat left on them. We have a warranty, so the oil is changed regularly. The warranty may be transferrable if you're willing to pay the company to do it, I'm not sure. Tires have about 40,000km on them, they're all-seasons and look to have at least another 40,000km in them.

The car is AWD (obviously), has a limited-slip rear diff (stock). The 2.5L flat-four makes 165HP and 171ft-lbs of torque (again stock). It's a lot of fun to drive, even in the city.

I have a set of WRX structs and springs that were earmarked for installation into this vehicle that you can have if you buy it. They'll bolt right up and should make it handle even better than it already does.

We're asking $15,500. My cell number is 778.288.9982 - call with more questions or whatever.

    -Matt

...if you happen to know of anyone who might be looking for a vehicle like this, please pass the information on. It's a great family car, as well as being tonnes of fun to drive. We'd really like to sell it, as we're not using it much and even though we like decorating the parkade, this is kind of an expensive decoration.
