got a ticket while out in alberta for speeding, i am a bc resident for info's sake, i thought the limit was 110 and i was going 140......
alberta has a law that if the speed is over the limit by a certain amount that the ticket goes to court, no question, so now I have to go back out there again for the court date
now the questions are:
1. i've had a completely spotless record for 7.5 years, will they show compassion and reduce the fine? how do I go about wording it
2. if it results in suspension (worst case scenerio), does having my license suspended in alberta also suspend it here in BC? it's a bc license
3. is it possible to maybe contact the courthouse before the court date and talk with a prosecuter or someone to work out an arrangement on the phone has to a fine, etc...?
thanks for any help
