For the last couple years, I've been strangely pulled in the direction of getting into sportbikes. I've only ever ridden on dirtbikes, and even that is fairly limited. But something about the sport has always called to me. Until now, the common (but definately not accurate) perception of sportbiking, and those who ride have somewhat swayed me from getting involved. However, after reading through countless posts and conversations about safety, riding to your abilities, and the pure joy that this sport brings to everyone, you have all SHATTERED the stereotypes of sportbike riders. I'm now looking for my first bike, and will be on the road shortly I hope. A big thanks to all of you out there who take the time to share thoughts, stories, and tips to riders of all levels. You've converted me.
