Okay, it's not as crazy as it sounds (heh)... as I still consider myself a noob with only 7K under my belt on my first bike now that I am more comfortable as a rider, I noticed on observation (again, I reiterate it's like I do this for kicks or anything!)... that if I'm going at a relatively slow 20-30km (est)... and let go of the handlebars... I notice the front wheel begins to wobble (as opposed to stay the course smoothly) to an uneasy point that I need to grab back the reins, so to speak.
Thought that was odd and not really sure if that's a normal effect with my particular (older) bike. Is there some sort of wheel balancing issue or worse? I just assume that if we did the same thing as kids on our bicycles, the effect would *not* wobble and stay smooth given the momentum and straight forces in effect.
Having said all this... my bike is due for some unrelated servicing in the next few weeks (and I'll bring it up then) but just wondering if this raises any warning bells with any of you more experienced (and mechanically inclined) members out here... especially while I'm still putting around on it.
Thanks for your feedback.
