I went to Squamish on Saturday and the cops had set up a radar trap at the end of the first two-lane passing section on the S2S. I've never seen them there before, is this new?
Seems a bit unfair, as all the traffic seems to speed up there and then you have to speed to pass the traffic. It's the first passing lane, and all the people who've been sitting behind a Winnebego for the last 6 km are eager to get ahead before the lane closes, so they boot it along there.
Fortunately, I got a signal from another biker beforehand. But the cops were pulling people over steadily. Doesn't seem right to me. Any thoughts?
