Save the knee-jerk responses, this is a serious thread.
My question is:
Are women in authority DIFFERENT from their male counterparts?
And if so, how should we best deal with them?
I'm talking about police officers, customs agents, etc.
It's been my experience that when dealing with authority figures they are usually very polite, calm and in control. They may be out to nail your ass, but at least they're polite about it. But there are exceptions. Thinking back, it's always been a female that gets abusive for no reason, only one time it was a man. And since I never, repeat NEVER, give them any lip, the abuse is unwarranted.
I ain't no hooligan, actually I'm a fuckin' angel, but after 45 years of living I've had my share of airports, border crossings, and the local constabulary ... and I just wanna know ... what is your experience?
