Thanks for the links ... good article on group riding "PACE".
humm ... (I may got nailed pretty bad by saying this ) ... some stupid threads got tons of replies but this one has none so far. It's sad that not much ppl seems to appreciate your afford or this kind of valueable information .
Well, let's put it this way ... because of you, I read both articles and learned something which may save my life one day. So, keep it going, post anything that you think may help other fellow riders.
Looking forward to do the "PACE" with you soon.

I read the articles. I just chose not to post a reply (until now).
To many times i go on rides and there those "new" rookies that try to impress everyone how good of a rider they are, or how fast thier bike is compared to everyone else. This is a good article, because it shows that to its your attitude that steers the bike and throtle, and that is how you get your self into situations that you probably dont want to see yourself in ever again. Its the mature rider that knows when to controle the situtation... im going to blab about this on and on.. good article. get the newbies to read it!
speeding, what, No..... in this thing?
If anyone is interested...let's go for a ride...early in the morning...not too much trafffic. My friends and I do this all the time. We take turns leading the group. Some riders are faster than others so we go at what ever speed the leader sets the speed at. I've had the fortune of riding with very fast (read safe) riders going up to Pemberton from West Van very early in the mornings. Man, no brake lights at all!(unless it was necessary). Let's just say that these were some of the best rides I have had and are having. Group of riders that you feel safe with and knowing that eache riders is riding to their own limit and not exceeding it!!!!
When the weather gets better sent me a PM and we'll go for a ride...I like riding the Sea to Sky highway...one of the best rides that is close to the city (only when there is no traffic..hence either early in the morning or sometimes in the evenings weeknights).
I agree 100% Sokha. Speed impresses no one that has ridden a motorcycle for more than a month or so. Motorcycles are fast. We all know this. It just doesnt' seem to sink in quickly enough.
I shoudl grab this article and put it up.. it's a great read.
That was a great article. Some of you guys out there could take a few pointers from us chicks. We always ride the pace and I'll be the first one to say I respect my bike and know what it's capable of but I always ride what I'm capable of. I guess a group of girls just doesn't have all that ego shit going on. We just ride at our comfort level but yet we're very respectful of our fellow riders.
That's my 2 cents!
