Well, now that we're back to uber wet weather, I'm thinking that instead of the old loser cruiser all the way out to UBC every day, I'll take the bike.
Thinking along that vein, I picked up a rain suit at Carter the other day (almost $30 less than tagged at Imperial...strangely enough) and now I'm looking at gloves.
I'd previously been thinking of the Teknic Thunder gloves, but then someone pointed out some of the Alpinestars to me.
The WR-1 looks good - http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/33-ALP-WR1
The Tech Road looks awesome but I don't know if it'd be as warm as the WR-1 - http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/33-ALP-TRGT
Then they have various other "ST" series gloves that might be good, although they're Drystar as opposed to Gore-Tex.
Newenough also has a pair of Gericke gloves that are Gore-Tex for hella cheap: http://www.newenough.com/gericke_eco...glove_page.htm
JR has a few pairs (I dig the shield wiper on the thumb...Thunders have that too)...so I'm a bit at a loss.
Thoughts? Ideas? Other options that are better?
