Bell removed $700.00 via auto-withdrawal from my account this week. They own up to the mistake and will repay the money in 4 to 6 weeks. Yes, 4 to 6 weeks! This is akin to theft in my eyes.
They have also changed their billing and locations since May, resulting in people incurring long distance charges when the calls were previously free. They, of course, did not tell anyone and they are 2 months behind on their billing. I wonder if being behind on billing is an accident?
Needless to say, if you are a Bell customer, cancel automatic withdrawals and double check with them to see if your areas for toll free calling has changed.
