Finished another one. I kept track of how long it took me to finish this one and I tallied 48 hours. Bear in mind this is the most complex decal scheme I have had to apply in all the kits I've built.
This is a Tamiya JGTC Nissan Xanavi Nismo GTR-34, based on the ever-lusted after Skyline. I used all Tamiya paints and purchased some photo-etch parts for the brakes, hood pins and window bolts.
Now I'm making a car for my GF. Although it is an assault to my manhood, I have agreed to make her a beautiful Porsche 959 in .... shudder .... pink. It will also have metallic blue rims as per her desire.
And if you think this is bad, she originally wanted me to build her a Black Hawk in pink. I flatout refused that one.
Enjoy the pics, and may it inspire someone else to try their hand at this great hobby.
