OK, my 93 F2 won't start. Here's the story...
A couple weeks ago I went out for a ride and about 2 blocks from my house the bike seemed like it wasn't getting fuel. It began to sputter as if running out of fuel (it wasn't). I revved the engine and kept it going, and about another 1/2 block later it was fine.
I rode it for a bout 500-600 km with no problems. Then this week, the same thing happened at about the same place, but it continued for longer so I pulled over to see what was wrong. It died, and would not start. I waited a few minutes tried again... no. I waited a few more minutes, and it started fine. I rode for about 100 km with no problems.
Then yesterday it happened again, but would not start. I waited and tried, waited and tried, and it would not start. Luckily it was only about a block and a half from home. I tried it again today, with no success.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm not that experienced with carburetors, but am pretty sure that's the problem. Each time it felt as if it was running out of fuel. Could it be dirty or something?
I'm not sure where I should start in finding the problem, and do not want to go to a shop ($$).
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
