Just some quick numbers I thought up…
Ex: For an ’05 R1 in Canada today Yamaha’s MSRP is quoted @ $14,999 CDN on their website.
The US’s lists it as $10,999 – 11,099 US, which this time last year converted to $14,552 - 14,685 CDN.
But with today’s exchange rate, it converts to $13,116 – 13,234 CDN.
Now is the headache of bringing a new bike cross-boarder worth saving $1,765 CDN?
I'm all pro spending money in Canada, but if the difference is significant enough it deserves some thought.
