Doing routine maintence yesterday and I found the rear brake is draging quite a bit. this is gonna cause some problems, maybe even warp my disc at bb I'm thinking. I've done the normal things like bleed the lines, clean the pistons (not very well tho, I may try that again tonight) and still it drags. these are not new pads, they were working fine up until a couple weeks ago. The bike is my vfr400. the front calipers did this to me in January of last year, but after sitting for 5 months after it was hit by a car, the problem mysteriously worked itself out.
Tonight I will reclean the pistons, and flush the fluid again. Does anyone else have any ideas?? Whats the best cleaner to use on the pistons? Once clean, I have some brake (silicone I believe) grease floating around my house somewhere, should I use that, copper grease, wd40 or saliva?
p.s. I did a search and just found the stuff I've already done.
