Any of you guys have trouble fitting those stupid gas station airguns between the spokes of your wheels to fill up your tyres?
This was the first time I had to put some air into my tyres, and it was fuckin impossible. I'm talking about those stupid air "wands" that most places have, you know...the ones that are like 6" long.
I was able to snake it through my spokes on the rear wheel to put some air in (although it took a little effort before I was able to figure out how). But for the front, I just couldn't do it. The distance between the rim and the hub is too small to fit the wand in there, and the spokes on the narrower front wheel are too close together to snake it in between. Also, the nipple is very rigid, so it doesn't really flex sideways at all.
Any of you know of a gas station (or otherwise) on the north shore that doesn't use one of those super long airgun wands? They have always been fine for my sportbikes, but not so good for the supermoto.
