    No-Shopping Christmas 2004

As I did last year, I'm participating in No-Shopping Christmas. Last year was a success, and I'll be enjoying the next month of not having to line up at The Gap to pay for gifts that will probably be returned in January anyway. Instead of getting stressed out at the mall, I'm making a commitment to spend more time with my family and friends. Isn't that what Christmas should really be all about?

Let's stop buying too much stuff for no good reason. This holiday season, go out and don't buy something.

My family have decided to not exchange gifts this year as well, so instead I'll just blow the wad of ca$h on myself!

No, I usually like to spoil one person each year other than myself.

I have a strong feeling that some of the bars and finer eating establishments located near ski hills will see most of it this year!

    Good Luck and Godspeed!

That's what I was thinking GAP = GAY AND PROUD. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

    Why not celebrate "FESTIVUS".

I've been doing this for sometime now. Welcome to Anti-Christmas.
don't believe in that bearded dude (santa AND christ), so why celebrate his supposed birthday?
since ya end up spending hard earned cash in exchange for crap you probably wouldn't have bought yerself anyways, I propose we rename the 25th of December to "trade your money for junk" day - it's much closer to the truth, the way, and the life.

LOL, I never shop at The Gap, they are evil and their product is shite. It was a worst-case example of how I'd least like to spend the holidays.

Mike, dude I've already spent thousands at your store, time to take a break

Bill, good to see that you're in the holiday spirit already.

This is a cool idea, Bryan. Thanks for bringing it up again this year!
