GSXR 600 Race bike (streetable)
Might as well see if I can get some response. Have a '97 GSXR 600 racebike for sale, has Ohlin's shock, reworked front fork, 750 crank (works out to 620cc), torquey little bastard! This bike is streetable, but it has never been registered as a street bike. Have a bunch of spares that could go with the bike. Bike handles VERY well, I turned 1:30 lap times in Calgary after 2 races, and I am a fat ass!!
Just can't afford to race with 2 kids, couldn't afford it with 1!! Only thing the bike needs is some jetting work and a rider. That's it!
Willing to trade for a street bike or would like to get around $3500 for bike only and $4500 with ALL the spare parts! Can discuss delivery (I live in the Shuswap) half way.

Bumpy. Have pics I can email if interested.
Been some interest but nothing in stone yet...
Getting warmer out there, almost race season! Get yourself a well set up package!!
Make me an offer folks, want to get a street bike the wife can handle. Getting to warm not to ride!!
OK, to answer some of the questions I get all the time:
I don't have street bodywork or headlights at this time.
It is strictly a race bike right now.
The bike is streetable but not registered right now, has never been registered.
I don't know how many km's it has as the speedo was taken off right away.
I am going to find out exactly what is necessary to make it street worthy and make it street worthy.
UPDATE: I have looked into what is required. Everything that the bike came with must be on it to pass an inspection that is required before it can be registered. All I have right now is a brakelight, 1 set of signals and the kickstand. Required items are:
-headlight with working high and low beam
-1 set of signals
And all this stuff needs to be wired up as the wiring harness was pulled out of the bike right away. I do still have the wiring harness. What I don't have is the time to do this currently, so this would be a good project for someone with more time on their hands. I will not be putting the bike to street worthiness, but as I said it is streetable. Looking for a trade for a suitable street bike for myself and my wife - older Katana 600 or ZX6E or CBR600 would be of interest to me.
