I had a brief exchange with Honda Center (in . . . Surrey?) regarding some quotes on a couple bikes I own to trade on one they're selling. Anyone considering dealing with them may be well off to shop around for better deals. They offered me a trade in figure for my 2001 VFR which was $3300- less than the most a local competitor has offered, and $2500- less than the lowest offer from another local dealer.
On the positive side, the salesman was curteous and prompt with returning info to me.
That's all I have to report.
Edit: Honda Center is located in Bby, I apologise. My transaction with them was based on e-mail and phone over a two day period. They did not view my bike, but relied upon my written description. The other two local dealerships did view my bike. It's my belief that the price of any item I am purchasing should have no reflection on the value put on my trade in, and that those two prices should be negotiated seperately.
