FS - Done 1985 VW GTI

    A little history:

I purchased this car when I was 16, 6 years ago and it has been a constant project since. I don't think there is anything that has been un-touched on the car in the time that I have owned it so consequently, there is a long list of mods to follow. Keep in mind that this is the first year the A2 model was produced and it has some of the nicer (I think) features such as manual steering, and rear disc. So on with the list of mods (I may forget some things):

    flexi section with 2.5" outlet
    **no cat**

Just about everything is new on this car or very near to new. It runs flawlessly, it's fast, it's low, it's loud. It's everything a toy VW should and will be. This car really takes some appreciation as it has enormous go-cart feel and agressive attitude. I honestly don't know what kind of a person will buy my car but I thought I'd start here. I am very open to reasonable offers but I am not going to sell this car just for the sake of getting rid of it. This car must go to the right person which will be determined by me...no parting out either. I will add that I have a binder full of receipts for the vast majority of the parts that have gone on the car....if I had to guess I'd say there is easily over 20k in new parts on the car as we speak.......tell me what you think....oh yeah, and the car has always been winter stored (summer toy only) and will be going under the car cover on October 5th....let me know if you're interested!

I am expecting to sell in the vicinity of 10-12k depending on stereo etc...no reasonable offer will be dismissed without consideration... NEW PRICE $9999

PS- here's a couple teaser pics!!!!
