Well, its Saturday midday and I've spent 2 days running around to just about every bike shop in Orange and L.A. County. Some of the stores were stupid huge, one dealereship had more than 200 bikes on the floor.
Think of anything you want for you bike, and they say..Yup! ...Got a bunch of those in stock. Wow......Wowee Wow Wow!
My goal in finding that perfect set of leathers yielded more than one to choose from. One morning with my buddy down here, we returned home with a one-piece Dainese that basically screamed extreme power ranger. Orange, white and blue with flashing lights almost. Full race version I couldnt stand uprfight in the damn thing, and even a chair was a challenege because of the hump.
Upon inspection from my girl, it was soon designated for return to the store. In her opinion it was just waaaay over the top. Despite me telling her that this was the tame one. We had are hearts set on the one with flames stitched into it. Even the fact that it was priced at a third of what it would cost in Vancouver, she and I quickly set out the second day in search of something a little less Liberace-like.
Dianese won again, but this time more a red/black theme and some nifty Alpine Stars Boots. Way cheap!
Today, my buddy John and I head to the L.A.. International motorcycle show. Digital camera in hand I'll be sure to snap alot of pics of the hot units on display there.
Man I love L.A.
