OK, so I am in a bit of a mess here.
Last summer I had my license suspended for 3 months and after the suspension I was put on probation. I learned my lesson and decided to drive normally, but going down some big hill going into Cache Creek I was cited for speeding a mere week after getting my license back.
I delayed the first court appearance, but will have to appear in Kamloops this week for the appeal. Obviously things do not look great and while I have been reading up on how to defend a speeding ticket, I was wondering if anyone else has been convicted of speeding while on probation.
I do not mind the fine or points for a speeding ticket, but my biggest fear is that I will lose my license and for a longer time since I just had a suspension. Taking the bus to UBC from Cloverdale last summer REALLY blew, and I cannot imagine going through that again.
Post up, especially if you know that getting one speeding ticket while on probation does not necessarily mean they yank your license.
