I have a super busy schedule, and today is the only day that I could get my bikes into the shop. Literally the next day I have free during the day is Sunday or the next Thursday. And I needed some work to be done on the bike I'm selling this week and the bike I'm getting ready for this season. John does all the work on my bike, so he told me to give Kody a call for a pickup. Even though the shop was closed he was willing to come at after hours on his own time to come and pick up both bikes to bring to the shop.
For those who don't know John (J1K) and Kody (also a BCSB) member have teamed up to start the new shop GP Developments. The place is coming together real nice. Its much bigger than the old shop at Bomax. Its going to be different than any other shop in the community. Very community friendly and oriented (let's just say there will be a lounge for people dropping by the shop and along with other innovations). Drop by and check out the new shop!
Its literally RIGHT beside Costco in Burnaby (Lougheed). The Southeast corner of Costco is like 10 feet from the shop. Its the corner sweet (#5) of the light blue and white building on Bonneville.
It was a bit hard to find the first time I was there, but now its easy.
Go down Brighton Ave from Lougheed Hwy (At Production Way Skytrain Station / SFU Station on the Millenium Line). Take the first left (at rail line) (Winston St.) and then take the next left at Bonneville. Its the first building (has multiple shops) on the left). On Bonneville take the first driveway on the left (has about a 45 degree incline), and look for the corner suite, #5 (Faces Winston). There's no sign so remember suite #5. And if its during the day, look for the bikes, you'll see some 125's from Winston Street in the shop if the bay doors are open.
Coming from Hwy 1, take the gaglardi exit, go to Lougheed Hwy, turn L, then turn L on the next big street at the SFU Skytrain station (Brighton Ave). Follow instruction above.
Anybody needing a full service shop, give them a call!
