On the contingency side of things it looks like Am600ss will be added to the payout for Pirelli as well. I need to get the official program release still but I have some pretty solid information that Novice, Am Open SS, and Am600 SS will be the classes covered. Good luck everyone. Make sure to do the online contingency registration for Pirelli before the start of the season to ensure that you qualify for the prizes. The Pirelli program also requires a patch to be sewn on your leathers (Bridgestone too I believe). I hope to have an official release with all of the programs and requirements in about 3 weeks. There's a couple more that I'm still working on and Honda and Suzuki programs are still on the way. I encourage everyone to participate regardless of skill as it can make a big difference for our supporters when they see some decent numbers.
I just heard that Pirellis are now being sold locally at Mspeed for $350/set installed in the usual 120/70SC1 180/55SC2 combo. Whatever you run, the tire prices are phenominal this year compared to last. Other than practice tires, I really can't justify takeoffs as much anymore. Can't wait to see what new slicks are like
