today I decided I was going to learn how to do a stoppie. I found a nice straight stretch and started by acclereating up to 50km/h. and then applying the front brake. I did this harder and harder until I was sure the front would lock. Finally on my fourth attempt I braked very hard. Sure enough the rear lofted about a foot in the air.It felt so sweet! The rear just settled down gently and I had a huge grin on my face. I thought I knew a fair amount about my bike but I now realize that I can brake much, much harder than I had ever thought possible.
Can you guys give me more tips on how I can get the rear up higher?
