Need recall letter for '97 TL1000S

Little help out there? I'm importing my '97 Suzuki TL1000S from the US so I can sell it locally, finally got the darned inspection paperwork from the Registrar of Imported Vehicles (only 25 days late, mind) and now I need a letter stating there are no recalls on the bike. Any advice? Anybody got a copy of that letter (sure, reaching, but what the hay).

Just call Suzuki USA , they'll fax you one. It has to have your bikes serial # on it. If it needs warrenty work they will say it has to be done in the states but you can do it in Canada pay for ir and they will reimburse you.

Answered my own question. Called American Suzuki Customer Service at 714-572-1490. It will take them about five days to write me this letter, but it's on the way. Was actually relatively painless (except for the five day part).

Honda USA is amazing. It takes 5 minutes and they give a follow up call within a week
