I'm assuming the whole north shore is illegal to ride a dirtbike as most people talk about Eagle Mountain in Coquitlam or Squamish as being the nearest places to ride.
Anyhow, just got a KX125 from a fellow user in the forums. Got all the fluids changed and I'm ready to rock but I don't get home till 6pm and driving out to Squamish is another 45mins. Be dark by then.
I blasted up & down my road at home once but don't want to piss off the neighbours.
Anyone familiar with the trails/road that starts from the first big curve on the way up to Cypress Mt? You can park on the side of the road. Then it's about 500ft of gravel road (blocked by big boulders) and another non-public road on the other side with a sign saying something like "You are entering private property owned by Bell Pacific...etc saying basically any activity you do on their property is at your own risk. Doesn't say anything about no motorized vehicles allowed. I'm guessing that means "fair game".
Even if it's illegal to ride on the north shore maybe I can get away with it there as it's private property?
Anyhow, that road leads up to a couple of water reservoir buildings, then goes to gravel and goes west or heads up the mountain. Going up is another fork where I believe the left fork is Eagle Lake and the right fork is that trail that goes across the whole north shore.
I just want to burn up the road for maybe 15mins and then coast back down.
Think I can get away with it?
There's also another gravel road which starts at the Bayridge (Chevron) exit after Cypress exit (going west). Not sure where that goes either.
I know I might get flamed here but any suggestions? Frustrating how all the FSR and other off-roads are slowly being locked and you have to drive further all the time to find trails.
Looking out the window at this sunshine at work is killing me.
