I just got a 2004 ZXR636. Now It has 500km on it.
The bike is my first bike and I am still a new rider.
Before I had a bike, I always imagined the typical, nice "BOOOONG" sound that you hear from street. I thought that sound would be the only sound.
Now I am on the bike and giving that BooNG sound to streets of Vancouver.
However, I hear something that I was not expecting. The sound is like a very fast clock tickling sound. And it looks like it comes from engine.
I can only hear that sound when the bike runs from 20km to 65km. If I go faster than 65km, the bike sounds very smooth and pleasant.
This sound is not very loud so not noticable easily, but maybe I am very sensitive so I am sure I hear it.
How does a typical bike sound like? Is this tickling sound normal?
