So it just me, or are other riders (more than likely the 30+ crowd) who miss having a good selection of 750 sportbikes?
Yes, I understand why the 600 became popular. But for those of us who do tend to put people on the back, or don't want to own (or can't afford) to own a stable of bikes, the 750 is still my fav.
And now Kawa is doing the 636, Triumph the 650. Lastest CycleWorld asks the question does this mean we'll get back to 750s?
Yes, you can buy the GSXR750, or a Ducati...but Kawa dropping the ZX-7 was a bad idea. (no...not counting the Kanata)(and no, I don't count the VFR as a 750) I won't even go near Yamaha dropping the 750. The FZR750 I once owned, is still the funnest bike I have ever owned, and I loved the feel of the bike. Heck, Honda hasn't had a street 750 sport bike for years.
And yet, try to buy a 750 these days. Only GSXRs out there, or thrashed bikes (am hoping the new one I get rocks, and from what I've seen it does).
Well, maybe I am just remembering the good ol days.
