We all pick this sport becuase we love it, we know the dangers that come with it, we all accept the risk. Some of us ride more risky then others and some play it as safe as possible that you can on a bike.
Some wouldnt enjoy riding as much as we do if we didnt add in the extra risk factor and to these people, me included, wouldnt see the point to riding if we didnt push the envolope at times. Dan was one of these riders. He loved to ride and he lived to push his limits at times to learn. Now regarless if the accident was rider error or a situation that couldnt be helped or a number of many possible situations. It dosent matter, expecially in his thread. That thread is there to say good bye and to share good times we have in our hearts. Not for you to stand on your high horse and tell us something we ALL dont all ready know. You want to vent fine, vent but dont try to tell us ur views are the way it should be. If they suit you fine.
Have some respect for Dan's family, Friends and most of all Dan. Start a different Thread if you want to discuss peoples riding habits and the effect that they may have on ones safety. That is why we are "slamming" you becuase you seem not not have a clue about appropriate place and time of convesations.
I know that if Dan could tell us now, he wouldnt be giving us the slow down, ride safer speech. You ride how suits you and let us ride how suits us and keep your "Do the speed limit, no stunt speech to those who care about your opinion which by the looks of it is only you.
Sorry to everyone for going off but i couldnt hold it in anymore.
