A buddy at work saw an accident on Monday, May 1, 2005 at about 5:20 p.m. on Great Northern Way before Clark in Vancouver between a blue sportbike (500 Ninja?) and a lime green Mercedes. My friend was not in a good position to stop, and it didn't appear anybody was hurt, but he would like to provide a statement if any is needed. The Merc made an abrupt right turn from the middle lane at an intersection, cutting off the bike riding in the right-hand lane. Bike got mostly stopped but went down and probably impacted the car's tire. Cager did stop. IMHO this was a very illegal right turn from other than the right-hand lane and the car driver deserves all of the "credit" for the crash. If you, or your friend, were involved in this crash and could use a witness, PM me.
