I notice that when I'm moving I always have to throttle my bike or else I'll slow down significantly. Why is that? Am I not in the right gear? Today I have tried 3rd gear going at 40km/hr and I still slow down a lot without any throttle. I can use the clutch but I'll have to keep engaging and disengaging it if I want to coast. So how do I coast it like an automatic car? You know how you let go of the gas in an automatic you just coast? For bikes if I want to be moving without slowing down do I always have to throttle it?
I also want to know about stopping. When I want to a complete stop from going at 50km/hr, do I gear down or just clutch it in and brake? Or do I gear down one at a time to first gear and when I almost come to a complete stop do I pull the clutch in?
