There were an awful lot of numbers I couldnt read today (and yes i have pretty darn good eye sight)
Look at your bike from 75-100 feet away. . now imagine it moving at 150+km/h
7's and 1's look the same on a lot of bikes. some bikes have rash so bad, I couldnt make out any of their numbers. 704 was one of them.
I am not sure what the policy is on race days for numbers that sound cant read. But i can gaurantee that i will have to enforce whatever they are pretty strictly tomorrow. For a few reasons.
#1 Locals were complaining about our noise today (though for the most part it was pretty low on the meter) i think the mayor got involved.
#2 We have to show that we are in control of regulation. Not being able to track bikes shows the opposite.
#3 We dont comply, city shuts us down. Bam.
Of course, I dont think you will even get through tech tomorrow with numbers that cant be read. Kevin (mosquitoe) i cant make out your number for the life of me.
Anyway, not trying to piss you guys off further. I am just trying to warn you that you could be in for a big suprise tomorrow.
By the way, you all looked great today. What was with the bike catching on fire???
Oh and Dan, what the hell did you do buddy? Heal up quick. Im looking for a cowbell
