ok after my last crash my bike has never started. i left it over winter (after draining the coolant)
and it sat, i drained the fuel too with siphon, but didnt run the bike dry, obviously.
ok so power up the bike, the instument check, checks. Can jab the starter and it cranks over like hell. But the fuel pump does not turn on when the bike gets power, like it should.
i checked the fuses, they were all fine.
i tore the bike down and checked the wires, they all appear to be fine, the ones directly relevant i disconnected and checked that they flow voltage off the bike, they do.
i checked the fuel pump relay, it physicly clicks over, i tested it off bike and it seems to work mint. i even tried another known working relay (of generic brand) to make sure, and the bike doesnt work with it either.
i tested the fuel pump off the bike, and it pumps fine, and the level sender also looks to work.
then i put it all together (granted with the airbox sensors off this time) and it doesnt work. i tested if assembled a voltage could go from one end to the other, all seems to work still. but the relay doesnt turn on.
i guess this meens that the ecu isnt turning the relay on for some reason. i imagine it could be damaged, but why does it do the other functions as normal?
