hey guys one of our friends in Seattle had an unfortunate incident on the front straight @ pacific raceways...going 150mph+...fortunatly it is all on camera!
Check them out http://www.worshipthebean.com/crash/
crashing at speed sucks a bunch! looks liek he is alright though!
Jim Pittman was impacted in the rear of his bike at about 160mph by another rider under a red flag,(no fault by anyone) Jim would like to thank Ross Delong #3 in the pictures for avoiding running over us after the initial crash occurred. Ross actually hit the wall at one point top keep from hitting us. The pictures you are viewing shows us as we are still tumbling at about 140-150mph. Mark Gulin was the other rider involved and suffered a concussion, some other head injury's and a severe gash in his back. Jim Pittman suffered a broken wrist, ankle, multiple ribs and a collapsed lung. Both riders are going to be fine and plan on racing again, The bike was a very new gsxr 1000, matter of fact, only 1 race lap old!!!! Cracked the frame in Half.Originally Posted by Jayson

Round two in Seattle ~ yellow flags came out before we even reached turn two! Some riders came together in turn one at 280km! Looked like everyone was O.K., so we simply regrid and went for it. Man! It takes me at least one race weekend to get used to those speeds in turn one again! Note to self; "Hold it open!"
Vanity; my favorite sin...
Broken wrist, ankle, multiple ribs and collapsed lung, severe gash in back, concussion, etc......Ya, good thing they didn't ge hurt. Ask them if it hurts.Originally Posted by Miteorite

I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
I guess I was just feeling a little banged up from my crash that 'didn't hurt'. Sorry for venting!Originally Posted by rgm
