I have to find someone or some shop that is willing to take on a full time apprentiship student (me haha)
I am enrolled at VCC and we are about to finish the program.
Im still 18, i had the chance to cut half my year off as a grade 12 student and take an autobody refinishing prep course at VCC. i get dual credits meaning i graduated at my highschool plus at VCC. now its ending and i have to find a place for my one month practicum, and possibley a apprentiship too
i dont want to get into the bigger shops, i want to get into some place that i will actually get to do something!
Over my 5 month term, i've preped, sprayed and repair a whole buncha sorts. my instuctor, knowing im into bikes and all, got me to do all bike related parts and such(eg. fibreglass repair, plastic repair). thats what i would like to get into, a custom shop or something but i know thats guna be hard to come by, thats why im posting this on here. if anyone has a shop they'd recommend, it would be great too.
i wouldnt mind working in a bikeshop but its mostly mechanical work plus it has to be an ICBC Vendor(acredited?)
any help would be great.
