I participated in the West Coast Superbike School Advanced Rider Training (ART) course on Saturday. This is not a shameless pitch because I was a paying customer!
Today I woke up with a headache and I can hardly walk, my legs are so trashed. IT WAS GREAT!!! We had a great group (no fools or idiots in the bunch, if I can say so myself) and we even lucked out on the weather (it was supposed to rain, but it didn't).
It was great to really learn what my relativley new ride can do, and my confidence on the street was hugely increased after the intense experience in the relatively safe setting of the course.
Best $300 I've spent in a long time. Great way to get some really intense experience under your belt without having to invest in all the bike setup and cost for track time.
I'm actually a repeat customer, having done the same course last year on a different bike. I'm considering doing it again this season.
