I may be dreaming,
... but I could definitly feel what seemed like excess heat off the left side of my YZF 600 during yesterday's ride. Through my jeans and leather boots, (just above my ankle area) the heat was notable, but the right side was cool and normal. I rode the city a while, then took to the highway and though the heat eased off on the highway, it seemed to eek back in the city. This was my first ride with the bike in temps that are higher this year than a month or so ago.
Immediately following my ride, I hopped off and felt for the heat. The gear-box area was quite warm, but not enough to pull my hand away. I've never felt it before and have nothing to compare it to otherwise. My guage lights never came on and mechanically there wasn't anything acting up.
I do need to adjust my clutch lever/friction point and am wondering if maybe that could be doing something to cause the prob.
Am I dreaming, or could this be the beginning of a problem?
thanks in advance fellow riders .....
