WTF? When will these people learn that we need a safe place to play? I hate BC for these types of things.
DON'T STUFF THE CAGERS!
Do they mean no more boundary bay drag racing or no more boundary bay period? For stunt nights and track nights?
The car guys lost their corner strip, but we still have the main runway (for now) for motorcycle and other vehicle activities. The corner strip was leased from the airport and the strip we're on is leased to PTEC which still has some time before it expires. Bill posted another thread about Andy being let go and he's the guy that organzied most of that...
Just got back and they have a different lease than the car guys, but the writings on the wall and I would expect we're on a short leash. Man I would hate to lose that place. Merritt's still not done and Mission is out of the question with their noise regs. Seattle is pricey and the F-440 track is just way too damn small.
We have to get the kart guys in Chilliwack to let us on their track, but they're too anal about the surface and don't want bikes falling down and gouging the pavement. Maybe with mandatory guards, but I'm not laying my bike down to show them how nice it crashes.
That's assinine. Guess its back to street racing for all the kids.
ya lets go and close of a section of the newly paved granville and rip up a couple strips of it
This has been discussed before. Boundary Bay's use by motorcycles is completely intact and handled by Bill and the JI. Everything's ok.
Move along, these aren't the droids you're looking for.
Hmmmmmm....... ;DStoddart-Hansen also noted Field's driving school, which leases space at the airport, and several other businesses that don't conform with the airport lease have been notified they'll have to go.
"He (field) has known that for some time now," she said.
"In order to allow those businesses affected in that way a chance to transition, we tried to give them lots of notice; in fact, six months notice with Delta supporting that."
