Hey everyone, I was thinking about this recently and I thought I'd see what the group's experiences were like on this topic here at BCSB.
Back when I was a new rider, my friend, my bro, and I went out riding this one time. We were following my friend. As a shortcut out of a parking lot we were in, my friend decides to go up a walking path (no ppl were around), and out to the sidewalk, after which he hopped down the curb and proceeded down the street for the rest of our ride. My bro and I followed, yet of course we took the curb a bit slower than my friend did.
At the next light I was like "Whoa, I didn't know sportbikes could hop down a curb like that." My friend said "Oh yeah, you can go down stairs on these things if you wanted to."
Just curious, has anyone tried going down stairs on their sportbike? Or tried hopping down a curb?
I remember seeing a clip where a total newb screwed up while riding a SV, coasted over a curb and into a tree. I was like "Cool! I could hop UP curbs too if I tried!" But I imagine doing this frequently wouldn't be good for the fork seals or frame.
