I know we've had similar type of threads in the past. But based on the past few deaths that have effected so many people due to the fact that they did know so many people, and were so well liked in the community -- how has it effected you?
Both Dan and Cody (from all accounts, and anyone knowing them would likely agree) died due to excessive speed, and loss of control under the conditions.
Are you going to ride a bit smarter? Drive a bit smarter?
Or is it going to effect you for a few weeks, then you'll be back to your old habbits again?
Personally, I found after Corey (Xyban) died, I watched the way I rode a lot more, and really made a huge effort to slow down and pay attention. But that's just me. In addition, the older I get, the slow I go it seems.
I'm not really riding at the moment (some minor commuting to work now and again), so this doesn't really change the way I ride.
