There have been so many RIP threads this year I thought I would take a moment to ask the questions WHOS NEXT?
(Insert name here)
I donít want to offend anyone with this thread. Iím just trying to make a statement that hits close to home here.
As I take chances myself all the time and never really think too much about them until I read about a fallen rider and think of how many times Iíve had that close call or taken that chance knowing that it was a 50/50 chance.
Let me just say after being on the phone with my boy in Victoria yesterday as he went by the accident there around 5ish and then reading about it here today really made me look at the way I ride.
And I tell you now and here Iíll start taking a few more minutes on my rush hour commute from now on. Riding between cars and cutting to the front of the line isnít so smart, sure it knock about 10 to 15 minutes of my morning ride as I donít have to wait in traffic but is it really worth what one day could be the ultimate price?
Ride safe and always remember in a motor vehicle accident weíll never be the winner.
