    Test and Tune June 20th

Is everyone ready? My bike still looks like something from out of 'Terminator'. Still have some more fiberglassing and tweaking, not to mention fabricating a slider which has gone AWOL. Aaahhh, bike racing, the never ending hobby. Can't wait to work on my lines......and new and improved brake markers.

OH YA, Im ready dude.. But the never ending cash pit is more like it!

My bike is also currently in a state of disarray, but I will be sporting a new -2 front sprocket that should make keeping the front end on the ground an interesting challenge!

Yup, the old turkey basting pan. You'll have to ask the motard guys how they fasten the things on there though.

Darin, watch the angles on the chain coming over the swingarm when you drop too many teeth off the countershaft sprocket. It can on some models put some excessive wear and tear on the guide or the swingarm at the pivot. just my

Ya its definitely a sharp angle, and does look like it will be rubbing on the guide. BUT it was Marbod's suggested gearing combo... So we'll see how she holds up. Thanks though!

    04 Kawi Z1000,
A reminder that this is also a good day to work on your new muffler noise level cures if you were loud on the last day.
A backyard mechanic without a service manual is just like a hooker without a lamp pole.... they are both in the dark.
