It's somewhat of an Action Motorcycle School tradition...a strange mix of good friends, Sportbikes, Great Californian Roads, Desert rides, Coastal rides, Beach and surf, Midnight BBQ, Six Flags, Universal Studios, Alcatraz, San Fran, Las Vegas, Big Sur, LUCYYYY, Spearmint Rhino, $20.00 bills, Santa Paula Airport, Reg's Hanger, exotic side trips, L.A. Ghettos, Cannery Road, Palm Readers... otherwise known as the great California Adventure. Seattle Raceway, done. Portland Raceway, done. Willow Springs Raceway, done, Laguna Seca, done, done. I wish to thank all my friends / family for such fond memories. Yeah, life's short...we're enjoying it.
I was seriously thinking about not carrying on with this tradition due to the work load need to make this trip come true. I decided to carry on this tradition because of two reasons 1) A couple of good friends offered to help handle the logistics of this big undertaking - namely on2wheels productions
http://www.bcsportbikes.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=52077 & Burnaby Kawasaki. Trust me, it's alot of work to make all right elements work together. 2) We sponsored these trips as a way to THANK all our former students for their support. It's a way to give something back to our students/family. It's a shame to stop this tradition.
2005 will be modified in a number of ways. 1) Transportation on our trailers and trucks will be limited to 18 spots (decrease from 40 spots in 2003). If you got your own bike transportation down, we can fit you in. 2) We're hooking up with some extended Action Family namely 1996 AMA SuperSport Champ, 2002 AMA Formula Extreme Champion and World Endurance Champion Jason Pridmore of Star Motorcycle School http://starmotorcycle.com/ will tailor a course specifically for our learning needs. Need a faster pace? No problem, Jason says he's more than happy to turn up the pace. He mentioned that he would make sure that everyone of us canucks would get individual attention...making us happy. 3) Oct 3 & 4 TWO DAY CAMP @ Thunderhill Raceway will run for approx. $550.00 u.s. We require half $225 deposit and the remaining balance paid in Oct. It's back to back, therefore you'll get more bang per buck, you're sure to learn something from an AMA Champ. Messed up on the first day, you still got the second to work on. Or you can book for one day. 4) $$$$ ? Transportation of bike $250 ~ to and back from California. Car pool to get down...we'll talk ~ that's where the sponsor money will come into play.
If you're interested email Alona @ email@example.com . She will put you on the interested list. Since spots are extremely limited this year, spots will be open to ACTION participants who supported this adventure from years past. If we have more interest, I'll look into making arrangement to get everyone down there. No promises...I can't pull a rabbit out the hat. If you're not an ACTION GRAD and if we got an open spot ...we love to have ya, no promises, very unlikely.
If you're going ...you're going. No... blah, blah, trust me I'm going!$#!
As well...we got Mark Kruger 6 time WMRC Champion coming down to lend a hand; Look for 2006 where Mark and I will join our expertise (Educator and Champion) to redefine the standards of riding schools.
YEAH at Action, we're simply more than a guy with a class 6 license. Ride with Champions
It's gonna be blast...it always has. Many of you have meet the boys in November at our rider's clinic...so you know what to expect from JP.
