People dismiss the bible as imperfect because it was 'written' by imperfect people....fair enough.....but the fact is that when the Dead Sea scrolls uncovered the complete book of Isaiah, only a few punctuation errors appeared between a manuscrpit that is 2000+ years old and what we have today.
I seem to be some sort of "wrong forum" whistle blower.
Dated a chick who believed and it suCKed...........
There's no response that fits me, I'd say sure there's some great morals in there but there's also a lot of hate if I recall so that sorta cancels that out. Even as a nonbeliever looking to find some moral guidance or enlightenment, I'd have to pick and chose like most practitioners do anyways.

if we would all live by 10 commandments there would be no wars or major world conflicts.
im no perfect myself; im catholic but im going to hell for all my sexual sins
If you have never read the Bible your opinion is worthless. It's like someone telling somebody how to fix something by guessing at it.
This is more of an open forum type thing, seeing as it has NOTHING to do with sportbikes. That said, I believe religion at its purest form is a tool used to help people guide themselves to attaining a better life by following guidlines, and a way of coping with lifes problems through the power of faith.
These days though, you cannot find religion in any pure form because people decide to make up and branch off into new religions EVERY day. Who's right? It doesn't matter I guess as long as what you do makes you happy. Faith is faith, am I religious, no. I prefer to live life to the fullest, and for me that means I "SIN" so to speak, very often. I have no time to go to church and have someone read me a book, I can read it myself when i feel I need to.
Its just not for me, I'll justify God when I meet him/her
