Recently I bought a some new riding boots, a pair of Sidi Vertabraes.
When riding in my new flashy boots I find it quite difficult to get my toe under the shift lever. Yet when I'm wearing my older touring boots or my Doc Martens the lever height is just fine.
Has anyone had to adjust their lever height because of new boots?
I'm thinking it's NOT because the toes on my boots are particularily tall, cuz THEY AIN'T. I think it may be because the boot sole is fairly flat and stiff, with no "upper recess" for the peg to fit into when I slide my feet forward to reach the shift lever.
