As part of the Convertibars kit I replaced the OEM brake line going from the right brake master cylinder to a bracketed fitting located on the steering head with a longer braided brake line.
As you can see from the first pic, the female OEM brake line fitting is also a one piece bracket which was affixed to the steering head (as well as an another unrelated brake line fitting).
The new longer braided brake line and steel brake line now are unsecured and float around, that is no good.
The female OEM brake line fitting and bracket cannot be separated due to a real strong press fit so there is no easy way to reuse the old bracket as shown in the second pic. Even if I could remove the female OEM brake line fitting from the bracket I would still need a way to hold the new female aluminum fitting securely in the bracket.
I need a good machine shop to fab a new bracket that will hold the new female aluminum fitting or some other alternative to securely hold the new female aluminum fitting and the OEM male steel fitting.
