Parents guilty of stripper gift
Strip clubs usually bar people below a certain age from the audience
A US couple who hired a stripper to perform at a birthday party for their 16-year-old son have been sentenced to two years' probation.
Landon and Annette Pharris of Tennessee pleaded guilty to contributing to the delinquency of a minor, the Associated Press news agency reports.
Ms Pharris said she had wanted to do something special for her son. "We even had grandpa there," she said.
The stripper, known as Sassy, and her male companion, also got probation.
Sassy danced for a few hours until people at the party paid her a further $150 (£86) to remove all her clothes, Ms Pharris is quoted as saying.
About a dozen young people are said to have attended the party, held in September last year.
The case came to light when photos taken at the party were sent for development.
Mr and Ms Pharris were ordered to take parenting classes.
