    Question ninja 250 suspension question

I want to stiffen up the front end. I've decided to use spacers for the preload, since a have an extra set of stock ones lying around. I have no idea how much of the spacer I would need. They are about 2" long. I probably would need to know the static sag first. If I'm over the limit by 1/2 inch, does that mean I would need a 1/2 inch spacer? thanx

Yes, add 1/2 inch spacers only to bring it up to what you want.

If you plan on keeping the bike for the long term then Racetech springs and slightly thicker oil for the forks will make a big difference. You can do this cheapo upgrade for less than $200. When I did my track bike it was $160 for the new springs and $15 for the new oil. I suggest going about 50% over what the stock viscosity is. So if your bike specs 10W oil then use 15W. But only with the stiffer springs.
A backyard mechanic without a service manual is just like a hooker without a lamp pole.... they are both in the dark.
