Hey guys, this is my second bike its a 1992 Kawi EX500.
I had a mint low millage Honda VTF250F II Integra before, and had to sell it cause of loss of employment, I got 1 year use of it, before I sold it so it's all good
Now getting back to what I was gonna ask.
I bought the EX500, had a long ride from abbotsford to new west, everything is perfect, bike starts right up everytime, I put on maybe 300k in the next 3-4 days after purchase, now, today I went to start it after riding it yesterday, the bike which usually take no more then a second to start when I press the starter button, acts like it was going to start, does not, when I try again now all I hear when I press the starter is "tic" and when I let go, I hear a "toc".
And it does that everytime, won't start though. Like I said I know it's gotta be something simple, becasue I rode the bike around quite a bit after purchase and the engine sounds awesome and always started up real quick without any problems, the fluids have been recently done, and all.
I still get the lights on the console on everytime I turn the key to the ON position, and like I said, I hear a "tic.toc" when I press and de-press the starter button.
Any clue whats going on?
Do I have a dead batery? BTW the bike has no switch for lights on, its a auto daytime running lights, so I only have a high-lo beam switch, no (on/off) so that couldn't have been the culprit.
Anyways, let me know what u guys think.
